Coaches

First Tee Snohomish County Coaches at a recent training.

The First Tee Snohomish County coach training is a priority, and considered the best way to assure our program is of the highest quality for the students and families we serve.

We value The First Tee Life Skills Education Program and Golf Skill Instruction equally and we want every student to "get the best of both worlds".

Our coaches include PGA and LPGA professionals, lay people with full time jobs outside of golf that want to give back to their community, educators on summer break, First Tee parents, First Tee student graduates, and retirees.

Every coach is personally interviewed, screened and undergoes a complete background check.

Coaches then select one of four "training paths":

  • Volunteer Coach
  • Assistant Coach
  • Lead Coach
  • Chapter Certified The First Tee Coach, or, Nationally Recognized The First Tee Coach

Our chapter actively seeks to train additional volunteer coaches to expand our impact in the community and serve more students.

Coach Training is held throughout the year. To learn more, contact us today.
